Unpaid volunteers and college interns are recruited to refurbish and upgrade computer systems, install and configure computer systems and networks, support these systems, and provide training.

All volunteers and sponsors will "take their vendor hats off" when involved in Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. (TCW) projects. There will be no sales of services and equipment to the involved school districts by our volunteers or sponsors. We are a corps of technical workers and IT. professionals, but we also welcome teachers, parents, and school students. This is a valuable learning experience for those involved. We clean, update, repair and load software on computers during our six days per week work sessions.

We need the following types of Volunteers:

  • Students (college and high school age 13 and up)
  • Computer Professionals
  • Those with an interest in computer technology and a willingness to work
  • College Interns

We encourage people to help their local schools by volunteering for Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. Volunteers receive on-the-job training; if you don't have many computer skills, we will teach you.

TCW has volunteer opportunities available Monday through  Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 PM. Saturday 9-3. Volunteers typically bring their own lunches.
