Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. is pleased to announce the latest effort in its continued support of children in the state and specifically within the Southeast Wisconsin area with the announcement of a new website available online at www.legis.state.wi.us/senate/sen21/news/index.htm. The newly revised website of State Senator Kim Plache, was introduced by the Senator today to Dennis Wentland's third-grade class at Olympia Brown Elementary School in Racine. "The 'Just for Kids' section was a big hit with the kids who were excited by the word search, dot to dot and word match pages which revealed legislative structure, a picture of the state bird and legislative terms," said Principal Kathy Jackson.

"In addition to being a great learning tool for children to understand how government works, the new site includes significant public information to connect citizens directly to their state government," said Senator Plache.

"We are helping the school with this project by having supplied the 15 donated computers for the computer lab and by connecting them to the Internet via a donated connection made available by CyberLynk Network, Inc. of Racine," said Michael Pitsch--State Coordinator for Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc.

This project is a continued experiment in re-defining how education is delivered to our children, wherever they are, to better prepare them to meet the challenges of their futures.

"We are pleased to have been asked to participate in this venture to help make a difference in the futures of our children," said Pitsch.
