Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. is pleased to announce the latest effort in its continued support of children in the state and specifically within the Southeast Wisconsin area with the announcement of a project for Racine's Glorious Light Church of the Living God.
"We are helping the church with this project by supplying twelve Pentium complete refurbished desktop systems and a laser printer; we will install the computers and network them together with a donated hub, patch panel and patch cables," said Michael Pitsch--State Coordinator for Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. May 12 is the target date for the installation of the computers at the church on Romayne Avenue.

"The computers will be used for computer training classes for adults and children and will enhance computer literacy among the members of our congregation," said Pastor Bobby J. Vinson, Sr.

This project is a continued experiment in redefining how education is delivered to our children, wherever they are, to better prepare them to meet the challenges of their futures. The collaborative nature of the project includes a number of public and private businesses throughout Southeast Wisconsin who provided the donations and the volunteers who are completing the work.
"We are pleased to have been asked to participate in this venture to help make a difference in the futures of our children, especially in our home town," said Pitsch.
