Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. is pleased to announce the latest effort in its continued support of children in the state and specifically within the Southeastern Wisconsin area with the announcement of a project for Heartlove Place.
"We are helping this organization, which provides various preventative, educational, and social services, by supplying twenty-two completely refurbished Pentium desktop systems, a network hub and five laser printers. We will install the computers and printers and network them together with the network hub, and patch cables" said Michael Pitsch--State Coordinator for Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. May 26, is the target date for the installation of the computers at the educational facility at 3229 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Milwaukee.

"The computers will be used for the Child Development Center and our after-school youth programs", said John C. White Jr. President of Heartlove Place, http://www.heartloveplace.org.

This project is a continued experiment in re-defining how education is delivered to our children, wherever they are, to better prepare them to meet the challenges of their futures. The collaborative nature of the project includes a number of public and private businesses throughout Southeast Wisconsin who provided the donations and the volunteers who are completing the work.
"We are pleased to have been asked to participate in this venture to help make a difference in the futures of children" said Pitsch.
