Racine, WI

Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. is pleased to announce the latest effort in its continued support of children in the state and specifically within the Southeast Wisconsin area with the announcement of a project for Racine's Abundant Life Christian Center.
"We are helping the center with this project by supplying twenty-five Pentium, complete, refurbished desktop systems and two laser printers. We will install the computers and network them together," said Michael Pitsch: State Coordinator for Tech Corps Wisconsin, Inc. 23 June is the target date for the installation of the computers at the Christian Center's new facility at 3034 Kentucky street.

"The computers will be used for our after-school programs for children. The After School Program is sponsored by a youth and families' services organization developed by the Abundant Life Christian Center called Project New Life. The mission of Project New Life is to equip children and families to excel in life," said Pastor Elliott K. Cohen.

This project is a continued experiment in re-defining how education is delivered to our children, wherever they are, to better prepare them to meet the challenges of their futures. The collaborative nature of the project includes a number of public and private businesses throughout SE Wisconsin who provided the donations and the volunteers who are completing the work.
"We are pleased to have been asked to participate in this venture to help make a difference in the futures of our children, especially in our home town," said Pitsch.
