2001

January
 We provided a laptop computer and a printer to the Olympia Brown Elementary School library.
 We provided 24 refurbished computer systems and monitors to Waterford high school.

February
 We supplied sixteen complete donated computer systems, refurbished by our group, and network hubs placed into the classrooms at First Evangelical Lutheran School in Lake Geneva, WI. We also network-wired the classrooms.
 We provided 24 Dell P166 computers and 45 fifteen inch monitors to Hales Corners Lutheran Elementary School in Hales Corners, WI.
 We provided 20 Compaq P166 computers and 5 fourteen inch monitors to St. Edward School in Mackville, WI.
  We provided one Best UPS and one 16 port hub and one 8 port hub to St. Charles School in Burlington, WI.

March
 On 3 March, Tech Corps Wisconsin installed 35 refurbished computer systems and one laser printer, and also networked the systems together, as well as for the Internet at Burlington's Winkler Elementary School. The computers will be used for word processing, Internet research and for other curricular purposes.
 We provided one 24 port network switch, one 12 port, one 16 port and one 8 port hub, a patch panel and bracket and a UPS to Burlington's St. Charles Elementary School to be placed into a computer lab and to connect the classrooms. We will also help with the network in the computer lab and classrooms by supplying volunteer labor to do the installation work of terminating existing wiring, making patch cables and finishing the classroom wiring.

April
 We supplied thirty complete donated computer systems, a network server and one laser printer refurbished by our group, to be placed into a computer lab in Southern Lakes Alternative High School in Burlington, WI, allowing the existing computers to be placed into the classrooms. We also helped with the network in the computer lab by supplying some components.
 We provide four Toshiba laptop computers to Barbalee Blai, Clayton High School, Clayton, NM. This is a very remote school location.

 We placed one donated computer system and one laser printer refurbished by our group into a classroom at Whiterock Elementary School in Waukesha. We also supplied a network hub and patch cables and installed the network cards and sound cards in the six computers and configured the peer-to-peer network.
 We provided thirty-five complete donated computer systems, two new network switches and one laser printer refurbished by our group, to Mitchell Middle school in Racine, to be placed into a keyboarding lab. We also provided the labor and expertise to network the entire computer lab using components purchased by the school.

May
 We provided six Pentium notebook computers, two Pentium complete refurbished desktop systems and a laser printer with print server to Dover Elementary school in Burlington. This is in support of their wireless networking project.
 We provided twelve Pentium, completely refurbished, desktop systems and a laser printer to the Church of the Living God school in Racine. We installed the computers and network them together with a donated hub, patch panel and patch cables.
  We provide twelve Pentium complete refurbished desktop systems and three laser printers to the St. Peters Lutheran school in Waterford. We installed the computers and network them into three four-computer mini-classroom labs. We also networked some existing school computers.
 
On 26 May, 2001, we installed twenty-two completely refurbished Pentium desktop systems, a network hub and five laser printers, at Heartlove Place in Milwaukee (http://www.heartloveplace.org).

June
 On 23 June, 2001, we installed twenty-five
refurbished Pentium desktop systems and two laser printers at Abundant Life Christian Center in Racine, WI. We placed the computers, ran Cat 6 wiring, and networked the computers together with a hub and patch-panel.
 TCW provided 36 IBM Pentium 233 computers, keyboards, mice and network cards to St. Catherine's High School in Racine. They will refurbish the computers, upgrade the memory and install software.

July
 We wired six network drops into classrooms and office areas, installed a patch-panel and donated hub, and terminated the wiring at St. Peter's Lutheran School in Waterford. We also connected and configured previously-donated TCW-supplied computers to the building network.
 We provided forty-five (45) 486 laptop computers in a pallet box and ship to Clayton High School in Clayton, NM.
 We replaced twenty-five (25) 486 computers with twenty-five (25) Pentium computers at Providence Middle school near Briton in Kenosha County. We also provided some replacement keyboards and mice and a replacement network server, Pentium computer, and a Pentium laptop computer.
 We provided five complete Pentium computer systems to Childcare Resource and Referral in Racine.
 We provided eighteen (18) Pentium computers, a bag of memory chips, mice, a box of modems, CD-ROM drives, and sound boards to Park High school in Racine for a Lighted Schoolhouse Program. The kids will get to keep the computers at the end of the summer program.
 We provided seven computer systems, monitors, mice and keyboards to Burlington school district
  We provided 15 complete computer systems and a laser printer to the Greater St. John Holiness MB Church, Chicago Illinois.

August
We provided six complete Pentium computer systems, two network hubs, and two CD-ROM drives to Union Grove Christian School.
We provided three complete Pentium computer systems to TLC Childcare Center in Racine.
 We provided 26 IBM 300GL Pentium 233 desktop units to Saint Odilo School in Berwyn, IL. The computers have 64 megabytes of RAM, 2 to 3 gigabyte hard-disks, CD-ROM drives, 10 Mbit network cards, and 17 inch monitors. 12 of the units also have sound boards. They all have been refurbished by our group and all are loaded with Win95B, IE 5.5, Star Office 5.2 and InDefense antivirus software.

September
  We repaired seven computers for Olympia Brown School and three for Jerstad-Agerholm Middle School and repaired 13 units for St. Catherine's High School.
  We provided an HPIIIp laser printer and a replacement monitor to Mary Blandford at Mitchell Middle School.
 We provide two Dell Pentium laptops to the RUSD Middle School Academy.

October
We repair two computers and install a DSL router for 2nd Baptist Church.
We refurbish approx. 95 computers, 10 laser printers, and 12 laptops for use in future projects.
We build and setup a 12 computer network N+ lab and a 12 computer A+ training lab at our facility. We continue to equip, remodel, and improve our facility.

 November
We supply twenty-five refurbished Pentium desktop computer systems to upgrade the computer lab and two computers with a laser printer to equip a new classroom. We also installed the computers and professionally rewired the computer lab network.

 Burlington Cooper
We supply thirty-nine refurbished Pentium desktop computer systems and placed them in classrooms. We also installed the computers and networked them with hubs.

 Burlington Dover and new HS
We provide two PowerMac computers and three Dell Pentium laptops.

 Sunset House
We provide five refurbished Pentium desktop computer systems and a laser printer.


2002 and Beyond

  Refurbishing operations will continue on a weekly basis on the computer systems. These systems are the basis for most of the projects that we do. Mike Pitsch will continue to spread awareness of Tech Corps WI at every opportunity. We will recruit more task force members and establish a regular meeting schedule. We continue the search for a State Chairperson. We will continue two recruit and place Vista volunteers. We will continue to work on board development.
